Short answers for the Resumify iOS app: signing in, resumes, scores, edits, jobs, cover letters, and Resumify Premium. The same page opens from Profile → Help & FAQ.
Questions that are not covered here can go to support@resumifyapp.org. Include the email on your Resumify account, what you were trying to do, and what you saw on screen. We read every message. A reply can take a few days.
Try these in order. Most stalls clear without deleting anything.
Check the connection. Resumify needs the internet to sign in, score, edit, tailor, and save. Switch between Wi-Fi and cellular if one of them is failing.
Close the app and open it again. On iPhone, swipe up from the bottom of the screen, or double-click the Home button, swipe Resumify up to close it, then open it from the Home Screen.
Wait out a long task. A score, a set of edits, a tailored resume, or a file upload can sit on a loading screen for a minute. If it is still there after that, close the app and try the action once more.
Update Resumify. Open the App Store, pull down on the Updates tab to refresh, and install any Resumify update. An older build can fail after a fix has already shipped.
Sign out and sign back in if your library looks empty and you know resumes were saved. Signing out clears the working copy on that device. It does not delete the account or the resumes stored for it. Use the same sign-in method you used when you created the account.
Restore a purchase if you subscribed and Profile still says Free. Open the subscription screen and tap Restore Purchases, with the Apple ID that paid. Then force-quit and reopen the app.
Restart the iPhone if Resumify will not open at all. Hold the side button and a volume button until the power slider appears, slide to power off, wait a few seconds, then turn it back on.
If the app is down, or a feature still fails after a retry, email support@resumifyapp.org and wait. An outage can be on our side or with a provider we use. Leave the account in place. Deleting it will not bring the service back, and it removes the resumes stored on that account.
Resumify is an iOS app for a job search. You can upload a resume or build one, score it, review suggested edits, tailor a copy toward a job posting, and write a cover letter. You read the result before you send it to anyone.
You need to be 18 or older, and you need an account. You can register with an email and password, Sign in with Apple, or Sign in with Google.
Home holds your master resume and the Score and Improve actions. My Resumes is the library. Score grades a resume, with a job description if you add one. Jobs is where you save roles and tailor a resume to a posting. Profile shows your plan, remaining uses, account settings, and this page.
Check spam and promotions, wait a few minutes, and request the email again from the sign-in screen. If it still does not arrive, write to support@resumifyapp.org from the address you used, or from another address if that inbox is the problem. Tell us which address should receive the mail.
Use the method you signed up with. An Apple or Google account will not match an email-and-password account unless they are the same login. Reset the password from the sign-in screen if you used email. The email link opens a page on this site where you choose a new password, then you return to the app to sign in. If the reset email never arrives, or the button does nothing after you have checked the connection and updated the app, email support with the account address.
PDF and Word (.docx). The app tells you when a file is the wrong type or too large. A scan that is only a picture, with no text the app can read, may come through incomplete. A normal text PDF or a Word file works best.
The master resume is the one on Home. Score and Improve start from it. You can replace it with a new PDF or Word file, or build a new one. Replacing uses one upload from your usage allowance. If you build a new master while one already exists, the finished resume becomes the master and the previous one stays in My Resumes.
A Premium account can keep the master resume plus up to 30 other resumes. Delete one you no longer need from My Resumes. Deleting a resume removes that file, its score, and its edits from the account. Jobs that used it keep their other resumes.
Open the resume and choose download. Word (.docx) is the editable file and opens in Word or Google Docs. PDF is offered when the app has a PDF for that resume. Check the file before you attach it to an application.
Resumify reads the text and rebuilds the document in its own layout so scores and edits land on the right lines. Columns, text boxes, and unusual formatting in the original file can shift. Open the preview and correct anything that moved before you rely on it.
A score is Resumify’s read of the document against the criteria in the app, including readability, directness, the STAR method, and grammar. Add a job description when you want the score to consider that role as well. An employer, a recruiter, or an applicant tracking system can judge the same resume differently. The score is an aid for your draft. It is not a promise of an interview or a job.
You can score and improve a resume on its own. Paste a posting, or add up to three screenshots when part of the posting is only visible as an image, when you want the result aimed at a specific role. Tailoring and a job-specific score need that description.
Improve suggests edits to the resume and shows them for you to review. Read every change before you keep it. You are responsible for the jobs, dates, credentials, and results you later send to an employer. If a suggestion overstates what you did, reject it or rewrite it.
The app aims to keep a resume to one page and warns you when a set of edits may add lines. If the preview runs long, shorten a skills line or a bullet, then export. A one-page resume is a formatting goal in the product. Some roles expect a longer document, and you can keep the length you want.
Editing the text, scoring against a different job description, or replacing the file can move the score. A later run on similar text can also differ a little, because the score comes from an automated system. Use it to see what to work on next, then judge the writing yourself.
Treat scores, edits, tailored lines, built resumes, and cover letters as drafts. Correct anything that is untrue, vague, or unlike how you would say it. Similar wording can be produced for someone else who started from a similar resume. If the same action fails or returns an empty result after you retry, email support and describe the screen you were on.
Jobs is a list of roles you are applying to. You can save a job, paste the posting, and tailor a resume toward that role. The tailored copy is for that application. Your master resume stays the starting point on Home.
Tailor rewrites toward the posting you provided, so the resume speaks to that role. It still has to stay true to your experience. Read the diff, keep the lines that fit, and drop the ones that claim something you did not do.
From a saved job you can generate a cover letter tied to the resume and the posting. Read it before you send it. Replace any placeholder, and take out anything that does not describe you. You can export the letter and edit it in a document app.
Build creates a resume from the information you enter. If you already have a master resume, the finished one becomes the new master and the earlier master stays in My Resumes. Building uses one Build from your allowance, and scoring the result uses one Score.
Premium is the paid subscription. It unlocks saving resumes and the scoring, Improve, tailor, cover letter, and build tools. Profile shows how many uses you have left for uploads, Score, Improve, Tailor, letters, and Build, and when that allowance renews. Unused uses do not roll into the next period. The current numbers are the ones on that screen.
The app offers a weekly plan, a monthly plan, and a three-month plan, sold by Apple as auto-renewable subscriptions. The price is the price on Apple’s purchase sheet, in the currency Apple shows, before you confirm. Payment goes to the Apple ID you use at checkout. We do not receive your card number.
Confirm the iPhone is signed into the Apple ID that paid, then tap Restore Purchases on the subscription screen. Close and reopen Resumify. If it still says Free, email support@resumifyapp.org with the Apple ID email — not the password — and the approximate time of the charge.
Each action draws from the allowance on Profile. When a count hits zero, that action waits until the allowance renews. The renewal timing is on the usage card. You do not need to subscribe again to refresh a count that is already included in an active plan.
Turn off renewal in your Apple ID subscriptions at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can do that in the iOS Settings app under your Apple ID, or at apps.apple.com/account/subscriptions. Deleting Resumify, signing out, or deleting your Resumify account leaves the Apple subscription in place. Apple keeps billing until you cancel there. Premium access continues until the paid period ends.
Apple handles refunds of App Store charges. Request one through Apple’s Report a Problem flow. We cannot refund an Apple charge from our side. If you write to support about a charge, we can help you confirm whether the subscription is active, and Apple still makes the refund decision.
Signing out removes the working copies on that device. The account, and the resumes stored for it, stay until you delete them. Sign back in with the same method to see the library again.
Open Profile → Account & Security → Delete account. You can also ask us to delete it at support@resumifyapp.org. Deletion removes the account and the resumes, cover letters, job tracker, and other personal information we can tie to you. The app will remind you that an Apple subscription keeps billing until you cancel it with Apple. You can delete the account without waiting for the subscription to end.
Your library is not shown to other users. We do not sell your content, and we do not use it to train a Resumify model. When you run a score, edit, tailor, build, cover letter, or text extraction, the relevant text or screenshot is sent to the AI provider that feature uses. The Privacy Policy describes what we collect, who receives it, and how long we keep it.
Export a resume from the app as Word or PDF. For a copy of the other personal information we hold, email support@resumifyapp.org. We may need to confirm the request comes from you.
Change your password if you signed in with email, or revoke the app in your Apple or Google account settings. Then email support@resumifyapp.org from the address on the account and tell us what you noticed. We will help you recover it.
Email support@resumifyapp.org. A useful note includes the account email, the iPhone model and iOS version if you know them, the screen you were on, and whether the problem happens every time. Please wait for a reply before you delete the account or subscribe a second time to fix the same issue.
